TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A woman convicted of murder in connection to the death of her husband will ask to be released on Wednesday.
Wednesday, Denise Williams' attorney will argue whether she should be released or get a new trial.
Denise Williams was convicted in 2018 of orchestrating the murder of her husband Mike.
Mike Williams disappeared after a hunting trip in 2000. His body was found 17-years after his disappearance.
Denise Williams later remarried Mike's best friend Brian Winchester. He confessed to the murder in exchange for immunity.
