TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WTXL) — Tallahassee firefighters responded to a 10-acre brush fire on Capital Circle Southeast near Woodville Highway and Crawfordville Highway on Monday morning.
According to Florida Forest Service, the Tallahassee Fire Department and forest rangers arrived on scene between 10-10:15 a.m.
Forest rangers say the fire spanned approximately 10 acres and they had it fully contained within 18 acres.
The fire was burning near the Southside Storage and Southwood Baptist Church.
No houses were threatened and no loss of life was reported during the fire.
At this time, authorities are urging residents to drive slowly and use caution when traveling near the area.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
