JEFFERSON COUNTY, Fla.(WTXL) — Troopers say the road is now open after a crash involving a semi-truck shutdown a portion of I-10 in Monticello near the Leon County line this morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on I-10 eastbound at Mile Marker 222 in Monticello around 3:01 a.m. on Wednesday.
Authorities say a semi-truck on it's side was blocking all the lanes in the area.
FHP is reporting that the road has been reopened. Drivers are still encouraged to use caution when traveling near the area.
At this time, we don't know if other vehicles were involved or if there are any injuries.
