TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Tropical Depression 11 continues its westward trajectory at 15mph, gaining strength in the mid-Atlantic Ocean with less shear and warmer water.
As the depression moves closer to Port Au Prince over the weekend, stronger upper-level winds should prevent it from intensifying any more.
The National Hurricane Center says it is still expected to strengthen into a Tropical Storm by the weekend.
