TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Black History Month Festival and S&G tours will be giving people the chance to see some of that unforgettable history on Saturday.

They will be highlighting black heritage in Tallahassee and how the neighborhood continues to thrive today.

The Black History Month co-coordinator, Nicole Everett, says this is a tour you don’t want to miss.

"Starting here at the Renaissance Center," said Everett, "we’ll feature businesses here in the Frenchtown area, some of the historic homes, and we’ll end up in the Frenchtown Market where they’ll get a taste of Frenchtown. "

One of the businesses they will be highlighting is the Economy Drug Store, which has been in the community for over 60 years.

The tour starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
