The initiative features 20 different poems from local artists.

Restaurants are able to download and print out the poems and put them in their to-go orders.

COCA will provide free copies of the poems to the first couple of local food organization that are interested.

"The food industry, the culture industry, and the greater community can all come together during the 'Poems to Go' initiative," said Amanda Karioth Thompson, assistant director of COCA. "Its basically a way to nourish our body and our soul."

"Poems to Go" launched Tuesday. COCA hopes to put a smile on people's faces when they get their takeout.
