TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Despite the pandemic, one of Tallahassee’s most treasured holiday traditions will still be available for viewing this year.

Every year, Dorothy B. Oven Park puts on a Christmas display. This year, the City of Tallahassee has transformed Dorothy B. Oven Park into a "magical holiday drive-thru experience," complete with over 150,000 twinkling lights.

The holiday drive-thru experience will be aglow this Thanksgiving evening and stay up until the New Year, Jan. 1.

Families who want to see the light can drive slowly through the winding path of Dorothy B. Oven Park, which is located at 3205 Thomasville Road. On all sides of the route, attendees will be able to see various light displays.

On weekdays, the holiday drive-thru experience will be open from 7-10 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays, the holiday drive-thru experience will have extended hours from 5:30 - 11 p.m.

Motorists traveling along Thomasville Road are urged to drive with caution when near the park.
