TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Tallahassee officials recognized neighborhood's across the city that make an impact on their community on Tueday night.
Along with individuals the city also recognized programs that helped to strengthen individual neighborhoods and communities.
City Manager Reese Goad says the event serves as a reminder to be appreciative of the neighborhoods we live in.
"We've had hundreds of neighborhoods in Tallahassee, and they're really the fabric of who we are, and so I think it is always important to come together and celebrate success," said City Manger Reese Goad.
