The City of Live Oak is currently experiencing a natural gas outage.
The outage was reported on Friday morning shortly after 8 a.m.
City officials say they have crews out working on the issue trying to find the problem and restoring natural gas service to customers as soon as possible.
There will be crews around town turning off gas meters and as soon as the service is back online crews will be back out turning gas meters back on.
Officials do not have a certain time frame as to when it will be restored.
In a Facebook post, the city stated the outage might last until "late this evening or into the weekend."
For everyone's safety, officials are asking that if workers have to come into your residence that you make them aware if you or anyone in your house has a cold or flu like symptoms.
