TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Sunday is no longer the busiest day at church.
With so many precautions being taken, worship centers are adapting.
Churches all over the Big Bend are now streaming services on social media.
That includes Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
They've been streaming their services for three years now.
But with people asked to stay home...it's becoming more popular.
Reverend R.B. Holmes, Jr. says they saw a big boost in online viewers.
"We've had this morning close to two-thousand people with live streaming which is miraculous so we thank God that we are able to give folk hope and help and a sense of peace in the midst of this virus," said Holmes.
Holmes says he's asked people to follow the CDC guidelines.
He encourages them to take advantage of this use of technology while they wait out the virus.
