CAIRO, Ga. (WTXL) — A church in Cairo is helping those in need by collecting supplies.
Pastor Debora Knight says Bethlehem AME Church was hit by the severe weather Sunday night, but that won't stop her and her staff from collecting supplies for her neighbors.
Knight says she is collecting tarps as well as water for those who have the most damage to their homes.
"Our mission is to serve and provide for those who are still in the need of being helped," said Pastor Debora Knight, Bethlehem AME Church. "So just because we are going through it, that doesn't mean we abort our mission."
So here's where you come in: You can drop off donations to the church on 2nd Street Southwest.
Meanwhile, Pastor knight says her church will hopefully have an Ash Wednesday service.
