TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Two Chiles High School students are spending their summer hitting the ground running on starting an organization on what's important to them, preventing bullying.
Rising seniors John and Spencer are getting pledges and donations for the miles they run.
They started Run Against Bullying Inc. to do just that.
Everything they earn will go toward anti-bullying programs in Leon County so students experiencing bullying can have a support system.
So far they've earned a hundred dollars and they want to keep that run going.
"When I was younger I had experience with bullying and I always felt like it was something people shouldn't have gone through so I've always been inspired to do something against bullying," said Spencer Amsellem.
"We'd like it to spread all throughout town, get it to other schools. We'd also like to see it make an impact and try our best to end bullying," said John Cruz Yearty.
