GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. — A man has been arrested after being accused of sexually assaulting a child.
Richard Joel Hamilton, 46, of Chattahoochee, was arrested by the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office.
After conducting a thorough investigation, deputies submitted a probable cause affidavit to the State’s Attorney Office for review.
Warrants were then issued on Hamilton and he was arrested and is being held in the Gadsden County Jail.
He is facing charges of sexual battery, lewd and lascivious behavior and obscene communication to lure a child.
