Chattahoochee Fire Department responds to house fire on Bay Street

CHATTAHOOCHEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A Chattahoochee home has been greatly damaged after a large fire broke out on the 100 block of Bay Street Tuesday evening.

According to the Chattahoochee Fire Department, firefighters were paged at 7:07 p.m. on Tuesday notifying them of the house fire on Bay Street.

CFD said they did not see anyone inside the home when they performed a search and they are reporting no injuries to firefighters nor civilians.

One Chattahoochee firefighter estimated $50,000 to $75,000 loss in damages. The Fire Marshal will determine the cause of the fire after conducting the investigation.

At this time crews and EMS are still on the scene.
