TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the historic lunar landing, Challenger Learning Center has prepared special events throughout July.
The Challenger Learning Center is the K-12 educational outreach facility of the Florida A&M University-Florida State University College of Engineering.
The center has also partnered with the Florida Historic Capitol Museum to celebrate their Moon, Stars and the Sunshine State exhibit.
Young visitors can collect a special commemorative ID badge at the Historic Capitol Museum, then continue their space-themed mission at the Challenger Learning Center to receive a special lanyard.
