CARRABELLE, Fla. (WTXL) — The City of Carrabelle is hoping you'll stop by and say hi this weekend.

The streets will be filled with music, food, and art on Saturday for the Carrabelle Coastal Culture.

People in "fishy" costumes will also be on hand greeting visitors.

Organizers say this event is a fun and safe way for out-of-towners to learn more about Carrabelle.

"We've just been trying to think of a way how can we have a socially distanced experience where people can come to Carrabelle, be mostly outside, and meet the local artist, and meet the local jewelry maker," said Tamara Allen, the director of the Carrabelle History Museum.

Organizers will enforce CDC guidelines, which include social distancing and wearing a mask.

The Carrabelle Coastal Culture runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
