TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — It was all about veterans Thursday at the Tallahassee Community College Workforce Development Center.
CareerSource Capitol Region hosted a hiring fair exclusively for veterans, spouses, dependents and caregivers.
Thursday was the Paychecks for Patriots Hiring Fair.
Participants got exclusive access to local employers, who said it was important to give back to those who have served.
"That whole state gives priority of service to every veteran that comes into our office, what that means is we will assist them as quickly as we can with little wait time to be able to give them the kind of service they deserve after they served us," said James McShane,
Thursday was the seventh year CareerSource Capital Region has put on this event.
