TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The new year means it's time for a new job, for some people in the Capital City.

Career Source Capital Region says the first of the year is usually when the career center sees more people looking for jobs.

In the past week, 86 new jobs were posted. There are some jobs, however, that people are seeking right now more than others.

"You want to know what the hot jobs are? Healthcare. That's anything working as a CNA all the way up to a physician," said Trish Yahn, a client business and solution manager for Career Source Capital Region. "So that's a big one. Also IT jobs are hot right now, retail and hospitality."

If you are looking to land your dream job, Express Employment Professionals is now open to help. The staffing company says you should look into accounting or marketing jobs, if you are interested in bringing in the cash.

That center is located at 1660 N Monroe St Unit 5, Tallahassee, FL 32303.
