LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. — A burn ban has been issued for Liberty County.
Based on current conditions, the Liberty County Fire Services Director recommended to the Board of County Commissioners of Liberty County that outdoor burning be banned.
County commissioners officially declared a burn ban beginning Monday and continuing until lifted by the board upon recommendation of the Liberty County Fire Services Director.
The burn ban is to prohibit all outdoor burning, except to permits issued by the Florida Forest Service.
