MOULTRIE, Ga — Moultrie police say a broken headlight led them to arresting a suspect after finding multiple loaded guns and ammunition inside their vehicle.
According to the Moultrie Police Department, officers pulled a vehicle over for a headlight being out on Friday around 8:45 p.m.
MPD says this happened in the area of 5th Avenue NW and 1st Street NW.
During the traffic stop, officers discovered two handguns and one rifle.
Police also found five fully loaded magazines for the rifle and two fully loaded magazines for each pistol.
In addition, other ammunition was found along with approximately $1,100.00 in cash.
Authorities say this case is currently under investigation and charges are pending on the suspect once their identity is confirmed.
