BAINBRIDGE, Ga. — A Bainbridge Public Safety investigator is in the hospital after he was hit by a firetruck while on the scene of a house fire.
According to BPS, at about 11:30 a.m. Friday, they were assisting Decatur County Fire and Rescue at the scene of a house fire on Aryola Drive.
As first responders arrived on scene, BPS Investigator Mark Esquivel was unintentionally hit by a firetruck and suffered injuries to both legs. He was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and is undergoing treatment at this time.
