TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Bite of Brown week by Dream Marketing Group is bringing attention to African-American-owned restaurants.
The group is kicking off the week with Island OMG Seafood, who opened in early January.
Florida A&M University students gave a live taste test demonstration highlighting some of their favorite menu items from the restaurant.
"I am black, I like to put wealth back into Black businesses to help our community. Black businesses are the backbone of the community," said FAMU student Ju'cole Grace.
