TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A new billboard has shown up on West Tennessee Street welcoming new FSU head coach Mike Norvell.
The billboard near the intersection of West Tennessee and Ocala Street, has Norvell wearing FSU gear with the words "Welcome to Florida State Mike Norvell" beside his picture.
This comes on the day FSU officially announced Norvell as new head football coach.
Norvell led Memphis to its first AAC title in its third straight conference championship game.
All this, after Willie Taggart was fired nine games into his second season. Odell Haggins has served as interim head coach since then and lead the team to bowl eligibility.
