TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Volunteers wrapped up construction Saturday on a new playset for kids at Big Bend Homeless Coalition.

It's part of the "Let's Play" initiative by Dr. Pepper and Coca-Cola.

They want to build spaces to make play and exercise a priority.

The park will be right next to the HOPE community along Pensacola Street near Appleyard Drive.

The non-profit hopes this will make a difference in kids lives through whatever they go through.

"We want to make it as developmentally supportive as possible so that they can live learn and grow and go on to a bright future," said Sylvia Smith, Executive Director Big Bend Homeless Coalition.

More than 200 people volunteered.

Kids can start playing on it as early as next week.
