TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Thursday night marked the 17th annual Walk to Remember.
The walk is held on National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
A service was held to reflect on lives lost. Songs of comfort were sung as family members grieved their loved ones. Siblings mourning the loss of their sister shared how it taught them about the reality of loss.
"I lost my sister Serena and at that time I really didn't know about death," said Randy Brents. "I was young I didn't really understand the process. So as I got older I learned."
It was a night of emotion as names of family members were called to remember lives gone too soon.
