ACE holds first ever Wellness Fair

LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Tallahassee's Adult and Community Education School will host its first Wellness Fair on Wednesday.

The event will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at their location on Appleyard Drive and will feature school alumni Chef Justin Timineri. He'll be demonstrating how to cook healthy foods and students will be able to try samples of his creations for themselves.

The Florida Highway Patrol will be giving live demonstrations with their rollover simulator to show what happens with distracted driving, along with several other community partners.

Community Partners participating in the event include: Fresh from Florida, Lively Tech, First Florida Credit Union, Tallahassee Community College, Turn About, Wellness Sport & Spine, Florida Therapy Services, TEMPO, Tobacco Free Florida, Leon County EMS, TRiO, Florida Highway Patrol, Blaze Pizza and Disc Village.
