A trip of a lifetime: Jacksonville couple reroutes RV trip to Omaha

Jeff and Meg Goodrich who are originally from Jacksonville, have been planning a RV trip around North America for years and this year, they decided to do it

While Omaha wasn't originally in their plans, there is nowhere else they would rather be.

The couple were in Montreal when Florida State beat LSU to punch their ticket to Omaha. They laughed about making the trip and after sleeping on it decided to reroute their journey and make the 1,200 mile trek to Omaha.

A little out of the way? Sure but worth it? 100 percent.

"Winning helps though. Yes it is, absolutely. It's a lot of fun, it's apart of the adventure too. I feel like I know every park, every campground in Omaha at present and who has availability and who does not. I feel like it's something we always wanted to do, major bucket list item, and it seemed the perfect year, and of course being Mike's last year. The fans have been so great and so fun, it's been great," said Meg Goodrich.

So Jeff and Meg again had to change their course a bit, they'll be here as long as Florida State is they said up next is Wisconsin and then Minneapolis.
