TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Nine cases of coronavirus have been reported at Tallahassee Developmental Center, officials confirm to ABC 27.

According to Kim Faustin, the TDC's chief operating officer, all on-site residents and staff at the facility were tested for coronavirus on Thursday.

She said the facility expects to get results back for residents soon and expects results from staff to come over the weekend. The facility will continue to communicate with residents' families about the situation.

Faustin added that the facility is "working very hard to keep residents and staff safe."

Located across from Tallahassee Community College, Tallahassee Developmental Center (TDC) is a facility that offers long-term care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
