THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) — A 3-year-old Thomasville boy is dead after getting hit by a car.
Police say the child was playing outside in a yard in the 100 block of Augusta Avenue around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday when a family member got in the car.
The person didn't see the kid there and backed out of the driveway.
Officers say when they got to the scene, the child was already dead.
There's no word yet on charges.
