3 more COVID-19 cases reported in Leon County, bringing total to 17

LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Department of Health has reported three new positive cases of coronavirus in Leon County.

According to the Saturday evening report from FDOH, one of the cases involves a 50-year-old man who didn't have any history of travel before testing positive. However, they say the man had contact with a confirmed case.

Another one of the cases, a 42-year-old man, reportedly had contact with another person with the virus and did not travel before testing positive.

A 37-year-old woman also tested positive in the county but it's unknown if the case was travel-related, according to FDOH's report.

A total of 14 Leon County residents have tested positive for COVID-19.

Earlier this week, the Florida Department of Health in Leon County reported that they were expecting a 21-year-old woman to be listed under the county's confirmed cases. However, that woman was never listed under Leon County.
