LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Leon County Sheriff's office has arrested two teens and a 20-year-old man in connection to an armed robbery across the street from Oak Ridge Elementary School.

Just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, a Leon County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Deputy assigned to Oak Ridge Elementary School was approached by a man who said he was just robbed at gun point in a parking lot in the 4400 block of Shelfer Road.

The victim said he answered an online ad to purchase a gaming console and agreed to meet the seller there. Once in the parking lot, the victim was approached by three black males, one of which pulled a gun.

The suspects took some of the victim’s belongings and ran away. Deputies responding to the area found three people who matched the description of the suspects. When deputies attempted to make contact, the suspects ran.

An LCSO K9 deputy responded with his partner and tracked the suspects to a nearby home. As a result of the investigation, the three suspects, identified as 20-year-old Justyn Cooper, a 16-year old boy and a 17-year-old boy, were arrested.

Cooper was taken to the Leon County Detention Facility. The teens were taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center. All three are charged with armed robbery and resisting arrest.
