TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — 19 people were arrested in Tallahassee after a week long investigation of criminal activity at hotels and motels in the area of I-10 and North Monroe Street.
TPD said they have received recent complaints regarding criminal activity at several of the hotels and motels in the area of I-10 and North Monroe Street.
Members of the Tallahassee Police Department’s General Narcotics Unit, Drug Interdiction Unit, Violent Crimes Response Team, and Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving Squad combined their resources to conduct a week-long investigation into the complaints.
As a result of the investigation, 19 arrests were made and the following items were found: Four guns (two stolen), one stolen vehicle, 112 grams of marijuana, 34 THC vape cartridges, one gram of heroin, one gram of cocaine, and 129 grams of methamphetamine.
Police are not specifying which hotels they investigated.
The following people were arrested and are being charged accordingly:
- Mildred Lundy, 49: Possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, Possession of narcotic equipment
- Momodou Janneh, 25: Moving traffic violation / knowingly drive while licenses suspended
- Michael Lynker, 38: Non-moving traffic violation / knowingly drive while licenses suspended
- Alan Sylvan, 25: Possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of controlled substance without prescription, Carrying concealed weapon unlicensed firearm, Non-moving traffic violation / driving while license suspended
- Ernest Walker, 47: Possession of marijuana less than 20 grams
- Samantha Karnowski, 26: Out of county warrant/Bay County
- Javarice Ware, 26: Possession of narcotic equipment
- Shuntae Kirksey, 23: Resist officer flee elude LEO with light and sirens activated, Violation of probation possession of synthetic cannabinoid, Violation of probation possession of controlled substance without prescription
- Hugh Watson, 28: Possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, Possession of narcotic equipment, Possession of weapon or ammo by other state felon, Possession of controlled substance without prescription
- Garrett Gordon, 25: Non-moving traffic violation / driving license is suspended
- Shavayiea Brown, 31: Non-moving traffic violation / driving license is suspended
- Kerrick Crumitie, 46: Possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, Possession of narcotic equipment
- James Smith, 32: Out of county warrant/Okaloosa County, Non-moving traffic violation / driving license is suspended
- Victoria Jeffers, 25: Driving without a license
- Devarius Lawton, 27: Out Of County Warrant/Bay County
- Kelvin Sweet, 23: Possession of Weapon or Ammo by Convicted Florida Felon, Carrying Concealed Weapon Unlicensed Firearm, Possession of Narcotic Equipment, Traffic Amphetamine or Methamphetamine 14 grams or more, Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Sell
- Mariah Colescott, 24: Possession of Controlled Substance without Prescription
