TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating after a person was shot near the intersection of Ocala Road and Tharpe Street Tuesday evening.
Just before 7:30 p.m., TPD responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Ocala Road and Tharpe Street.
A short time later, a person arrived at a local hospital suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police said the incident is an ongoing criminal investigation.
Investigators ask anyone who may have witnessed the shooting but did not speak to an officer on the scene, to please call (850) 891-4200. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
