TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Rainy weather made for a wet Monday for many in our area, but one woman says, for her and her neighbors, the problem is even worse.
Shannon Percy lives in the Brittany Estates Mobile Home Park on Capital Circle NW in Tallahassee.
She's complained to the city multiple times, saying, because of the nearby businesses, her neighborhood floods every time it rains.
"They are dumping rain water on my backyard. They've been notified by the City of Tallahassee," said Percy. "They've been notified by the county of Leon that they are in violation of what the rules and regulations say about rain water."
Percy has lived in the neighborhood for four years and she says she's been trying to bring this issue to the city and county's attention for the past six months.
