TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - President Donald Trump revised his initial travel ban Monday, removing Iraq from the list of countries where citizens cannot travel to the U.S. and making sure that those with green cards and visas will be allowed to enter the U.S.
But many democrats still saying the changes aren't enough, including those who represent North Florida.
Representative Gwen Graham posted on Facebook Monday saying quote: "Everyone who cares about america's safety should oppose the latest trump attempt at a travel ban. And everyone who cares about America's safety should call on Donald Trump to finally start listening to intelligence and military experts like the ones who briefed me when I served on the House Armed Services Committee.
"Ill-advised bans won't make America safer or more secure, but a better-informed president sure would," Graham continued.
Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum also voiced his concerns on social media.
He tweeted yesterday, "As trump continues to target refugees with his Muslim ban, I believe we can build a state that loudly, and proudly accepts all immigrants."
