TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A local elementary school has made sure that its students are prepared in the event of a dangerous situation.
Woodville Elementary School held its first ever Safety Fair on Thursday.
The idea was created by the school's resource officer who thought it would be good to get the Kindergarten through 8th grade students together to learn about different law enforcement and first responding agencies in Florida.
8 different agencies were on site and they gave students tips on ways to stay safe as well as career advice.
School officials said that the fair was a great success and they have planned to do it again next year.
