TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Friday, a Central Florida jury reached a verdict of not guilty in the case against Noor Salman, the widow of the Pulse nightclub shooter.

Many members of the LGBTQ community voiced their opinions. Some feel Salman knew about the shooting and could have prevented it.

"I feel like she knew. I feel like she definitely knew and should of done something or said something to somebody," said community member Dannie Stewart. "The FBI, the local police, somebody to stop him and she even said out of here own mouth she knew that he was gonna do something violent, she just didn't know when, and she was afraid so her fear stopped her."

Salman was released from jail Friday, after a jury found her not guilty of obstruction and providing material support to a terrorist organization, charges that could have brought a life sentence.
