TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Tim Tebow is calling on a local church to again take part in a global event.

Genesis Church is bringing the Night to Shine special needs prom back to Tallahassee next year.

This marks the third year in a row that Genesis Church has been selected to host the special event.

Everyone who takes part gets the full prom experience, from hair and make-up to a limo ride and walking the red carpet.

Last year, nearly 200 people danced the night away, and more than 450 volunteers donated their time to make it happen.

Genesis is also hosting a "Prom Shop" on January 28, 2017. Each guest with special needs will be able to pick out a free dress or suit to wear to the prom, and they get to keep it. Genesis is will start collecting gently used prom-wear starting in  January.

The Night to Shine prom will happen in different cities around the world simultaneously on Friday, February 10, 2017.
