TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Candidates for school board, judge and County Commission came together for another forum Monday morning.
The topic for this one: mental health.
Candidates answered questions about mental illness, mental health awareness training and medical treatment.
Steve Litherland said that forums like this are very important.
"This is critical. We want to know where the candidates stand on mental health issues. Really excited to have such a great turn out, a packed house here for our forum today its just fantastic," said Litherland, who's with the Big Bend Mental Health Coalition. "We're helping educate. not only the candidates. but the community, quite a few consumers here as well."
The primary election will be held August 28th.
