TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Several people have headed back to stores to return holiday gifts from over the weekend.
Businesses said crowds were lighter Monday compared to Christmas weekend, with few customers returning products.
For Hearth & Soul, the store said most people shopping today just wanted to get out of the house for a bit after being wrapped up with the holidays.
"We've been real fortunate today," said customer service manager Kimberly Waller. "We haven't had a whole lot of returns. Those that have have always turned around and became purchases as well, which is what, in the retail world, that you would like to see."
Other businesses remained closed Monday as part of the holiday weekend, leaving some customers to wait a little longer to return or exchange items.
