TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) -- Local residents can jump on the all new "Tallahassee Brew Bus" to visit all of the craft breweries in our area.
Growler Country is behind the Capital City's newest transportation option. The business says it gives people a way to safely enjoy Tallahassee's growing craft beer scene.
There are three options for beer lovers:
1) You can sign up for a Friday night ride to shuttle you between designated stops and can get on and off as you please.
2) On Saturdays, the tour includes three brewery stops, along with tours where you can taste all of the different beers.
3) And on Sundays, the tour heads to the Forgotten Coast to tour Apalachicola and Oyster City Brewery.
The "Brew Bus" founders say they think the tours will be a boost to area breweries. "We have an opportunity to get people on the south side of town, by the college, up to the north side of town that might not make it up here all the time", said Michael Carbonell, Owner of Growler Country, and the Tallahassee Brew Bus. "And people on the north side of town, we can get them down to the south side to the breweries and they don't have to fight traffic [or] hop in their cars. They can hop on with 18 other, like minded craft beer fans and just enjoy themselves."
