TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Some local bands are taking to the stage to help us ring in the New Year!
It's part of Tallahassee's annual New Year's Eve party.
This year, the event is bigger and better than ever.
All of the festivities are taking over the Adams Street Commons.
There's also a family fun zone, and the big fireworks spectacular.
Everything kicks off Thursday, December 31 at 7 p.m. with live music from the Mary & Aaron Band. The duo joined us on WTXL Midday for a preview performance.
At 8:30 p.m., Wanderfoot takes the stage.
Headliners The New 76ers start playing at 10 p.m.
Just before midnight, there's the big countdown and fireworks show, which will be streamed live online at wtxl.tv.
The New 76ers will return to the stage after the fireworks to play until 12:30 a.m.
The event is free and all are invited, plus 100% of alcohol sales will go to the local group Southern Shakespeare.
