VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--Bands battled it out over the weekend in Valdosta at at the 12th Annual Battle on the Border.
Twelve marching bands competed at Martin Stadium on Saturday including Leon and Thomasville high schools.
Both bands earned superior ratings, the highest score any band can receive.
Judges graded the bands on music and visual performance, color guard, drum major and danceline.
Leon High School received best in band for Class AAAA, and Thomasville High School came home with the same honor for Class AA.
