TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The WTXL Turkey Drive is coming up in three weeks so, one local artist made it her mission to make a difference and be a part of the efforts to benefit Second Harvest of the Big Bend.
Last week at the WTXL Getdown, Kollet Probst started to create a very special and powerful piece. You watched her live on WTXL as she started to paint.
Fast forward to Wednesday, and Probst has finished up the painting by putting her final signature on it and glossing the canvas.
Along with the overalls she created the piece in, Probst has started a fundraiser on her personal Facebook page to donate the painting and overalls to a random person, all to benefit Second Harvest of the Big Bend.
Probst says the piece represents the strong will of Floridians.
"I went for a vintage Florida feel. Florida has been through this hurricane and disasters as long as time goes back and I wanted to send a message that we always come back," said Probst.
