LIVE OAK, FL (WTXL) -- A sergeant with the Live Oak Police department was arrested Wednesday morning, according to the Live Oak Police Chief.
Sgt. Kyle Kirby was arrested by the FBI for possession on child porn. Kirby had been with the department since 2002.
He was suspended after a search warrant was served at his home last Thursday. Kirby will appear in a federal court later this afternoon.
