Live Oak Man Granted Clemency by President Obama

LIVE OAK, FL (WTXL) -- A Live Oak man has been granted clemency by President Obama.

On Friday the President commuted the sentence of Allen Johnson, who was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison for distributing more than five grams of cocaine.

Johnson will be released on April 16th, 2016, and will still have to be supervised for the next five years.

Johnson was one of 95 federal prisoners who received a commuted sentence.
