LIBERTY Co., FL -- A Liberty County Corrections Officer has been arrested for bringing contraband into a state correctional institution.
Rashad Ford was arrested on Wednesday. Court documents say he brought cigarettes into the Liberty Correction Institution.
He was also charged with unlawful compensation by a public official.
According to court documents, Ford was wired money as unlawful payment on several occasions.
Officials say it's still an active investigation.
