TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office arrests a woman for taking advantage of an elderly woman.
LCSO says Leah Harshbarger forged the 69 year old's signature while caring for her and wrote 19 checks to herself and cashed all of them at various Suntrust banks in Tallahassee.
They also found that Harshbarger used the victim's account and personal information to pay for her bills and stole more than $8,000 total.
She's being held on several charges, including exploitation of the elderly and bank fraud.
