TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The newest release of an annual study by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation raises concerns about housing in Tallahassee.

According to the study, 23-percent of households in Leon County have problems with overcrowding, high cost or lack of kitchen or plumbing facilities.

WTXL spoke with officials to determine what the county is doing to decrease those numbers.

While city and county programs are working to place residents in housing as quickly as possible, wait times for housing assignments can be as long as two years.
