TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Parents in Tallahassee sent their children off to the first day of school Monday for the 2017 - 2018 year.
With students heading back to the classrooms, that means more traffic on the roads.
Here are numbers released by Leon County Schools.
This Monday morning you can expect to see 165 school buses driving some 12,600 students around 21,000 miles per day.
A good reminder is to slow down in school zones. Watch for students who may be walking, and never pass a school bus while its stop sign is active. sign is active.
